(L.A.) Patrick Gregory, 36, Died From Alcohol Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Patrick Gregory.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Alcohol Toxicity

Other Significant Conditions: Coronary Artery Disease; Hyperglycemia; Chronic Alcohol Liver Disease

RIP PATRICK GREGORY (July 23, 1987 – June 7, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 2:12 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This appears to be a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent accidentally, i.e., unintentionally, drank himself to death. He drank too much in one go.
