(L.A.) Brian Kuan, 21, Died From a Drug Overdose

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Chinese male that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Brian Kuan of Walnut, California.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death A: Acute Anoxic Encephalopathy
Cause of Death B: Aspiration Pneumonia
Cause of Death C: Drug Intoxicatiion
RIP BRIAN TIMOTHY KUAN (December 26, 1994 – April 1, 2016)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:00 p.m.
The decedent was declared deceased at the UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center.
Brian Tim Kuan was a third-year cognitive science student who transferred from California Polytechnic State University Pomona.
The overdose incident appears to have happened at the De Neve Holly dormitory where he was residing.
