(L.A.) Thaddeus Kornish, 53, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Thaddeus Kornish.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Anoxic Encephalopathy

Cause of Death B: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP THADDEUS KORNISH (June 19, 1970 – May 11, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 2:32 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 21.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
