The coroner’s office has identified the man as Cupertino Banuelos.

Born in L.A. County. Mother’s maiden name is Avelar.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:58 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 2.
