(L.A.) Phillip Lemus Jr., 20, Died in a Sober Living Facility

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Latino male that occurred in a sober living facility.
The coroner’s office has identified the young man as Phillip Lemus Jr.
Manner of Death: Natural
Cause of Death: Complications of Obesity
Other Significant Condition: Diabetes Mellitus
RIP PHILLIP LEMUS JR. (June 6, 2003 – March 22, 2024)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 6:04 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 13, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
