Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Asian male that occurred in a motel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jeck Celaje.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Congestive Heart Failure

Other Significant Condition: History of Hypertension

RIP JECK CELAJE (August 25, 1979 – March 12, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:36 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 5.

It appears the decedent may have been of Filipino descent.
