(L.A.) Wong Smith, 51, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 51-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Wong Smith.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Cocaine, Fentanyl, Phencyclidine, Methamphetamine Toxicity
RIP WONG SMITH (April 21, 1972 – February 26, 2024)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 11:30 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in August, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
