(L.A.) Marcus Bess, 31, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Marcus Bess.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP MARCUS BESS (June 23, 1992 – March 2, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 8:58 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 11, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
