Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 63-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Christopher Valentine.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine Toxicity

RIP CHRISTOPHER VALENTINE (May 16, 1960 – December 15, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:30 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in June the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
