(L.A.) Dagoberto Martinez, 47, Died in a Vehicle

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dagoberto Martinez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Effects

Other Significant Conditions: Pulmonary Emboli, Phlebothrombosis

RIP DAGOBERTO MARTINEZ (May 10, 1976 – December 20, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:17 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 1, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
