(L.A.) Malik Hubbard, 26, Died in a Hotel/Motel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Black male that occurred in a hotel/motel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Malik Hubbard.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl

Other Significant Condition: Community-Acquired Pneumonia

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 9:54 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 14, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
