Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old Black male that occurred at a gas station.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Loren Tyson.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP LOREN TYSON (December 28, 1954 – December 15, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 1:52 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 9, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
