Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 44-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gilbert Valderrama Jr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP GILBERT VALDERRAMA JR. (December 28, 1978 – December 8, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:22 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 2, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
