Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 22-year-old White/Caucasian female.

The coroner’s office has identified the young woman as Olivia Gunderson.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Sodium Nitrite Toxicity

RIP OLIVIA GUNDERSON (April 16, 2001 – December 4, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 3:01 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 27, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
