(L.A.) Junius Randolph, 30, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Junius Randolph.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Alprazolam and Fentanyl

Other Significant Conditions: Recent Cocaine Use, Coronary Artery Disease, Dilated Cardiomyopathy, Chronic Alcohol Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:25 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 3, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental overdose.
