(L.A.) Carlos Villanueva Ceron, 50, Died at an Intersection

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Latino male that occurred at an intersection.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Villanueva Ceron.

Cause of Death: Blunt Trauma

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 6:10 p.m.
The decedent was sitting on a bus bench when he ended up the innocent victim of a violent two-vehicle collision.
Long Beach Police say the crash happened just before 6 p.m. in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue and Pacific Coast Highway.
A 20-year-old man was speeding eastbound on PCH in a 2010 Nissan 350z when his sedan collided with a 2017 Jeep Cherokee that was in the westbound lanes of PCH and making a left turn onto MLK.
The gray Nissan ended up hitting Ceron, who was sitting on a bus bench near the intersection. The impact sent Ceron into the air until his body came to rest in front of a 7-Eleven.
Both drivers survived with minor injuries.
