(L.A.) John Waddell, 68, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 68-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as John Waddell.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine, History of Diabetes Mellitus

RIP JOHN WADDELL (May 8, 1955 – October 27, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 11:32 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 19, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental overdose.
