Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old White/Caucasian female.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Makenna Maples.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP MAKENNA MAPLES (January 29, 1997 – October 15, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:41 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 21, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
