Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Levoria Brooks.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Multiple Drug Intoxication
RIP LEVORIA BROOKS (October 16, 1963 – October 8, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 4:46 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
