Britney Spears Finally Allowed by Court to Choose Her Own Lawyer
Pop star Britney Spears was granted the right to choose her own attorney on Wednesday.
A Los Angeles court addressed petitions from Britney Spears’ conservatorship case, and a judge granted her the right to choose her own attorney.
BREAKING: Britney Spears has been permitted by judge to choose a new attorney to represent her in her ongoing conservatorship battle, marking the first time the pop star has had a say in her own legal representation since 2008.

Since her last court appearance in June, her court-appointed lawyer has asked to step down and her wealth management firm has asked to be withdrawn from the conservatorship.
