(L.A.) Lara McTague, 41, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Lara McTague.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: History of Congestive Heart Failure

RIP LARA MCTAGUE (June 21, 1982 – September 10, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 1:20 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 24, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
