(L.A.) Robert January, 71, Died at a Private Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 71-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Robert January.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP ROBERT JANUARY (August 24, 1952 – August 23, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:45 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 26, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

This was an accidental overdose.
