The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Gladys Elegino.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Laennec Cirrhosis

RIP GLADYS ELEGINO (July 6, 1975 – August 17, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:35 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 4.

Laënnec cirrhosis is primarily caused by excessive and chronic alcohol consumption.
