Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 33-year-old Latino male that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jean Diaz. Born in L.A. County.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Phencyclidine, Cocaine and Methamphetamine Effects

RIP JEAN CARLOS DIAZ (July 14, 1990 – August 12, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 6:03 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
