Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Black male that occurred in Gardena.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Terion Alexander.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound to the Leg

RIP TERION ALEXANDER (December 16, 1979 – August 3, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 12:24 a.m.

Sheriff’s deputies from the Compton Station were called at 12:13 a.m. to an area near West Redondo Beach Boulevard and Main Street regarding a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, they found Alexander had been shot.

Alexander is believed to have been driving east on Redondo Beach Boulevard when his vehicle was struck by gunfire.
