Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 30-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital/polyclinic.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jose Zarco.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Sepsis

Cause of Death B: Peritonitis

Cause of Death C: Ruptured Small Bowel

Cause of Death D: Ingestion of Foreign Body

RIP JOSE ZARCO (April 6, 1993 – July 15, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 5:50 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 28.
