Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old Black female that occurred at a residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Andrea Smith.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Cocaine, Citalopram and Cyclobenzaprine
Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Chronic Renal Failure Requiring Dialysis, Diabetes Mellitus, Crack Cocaine Addiction and Polysubstance Abuse
RIP ANDREA SMITH (July 3, 1958 – May 16, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 1:10 p.m.
Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 27, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
