(L.A.) Shelby Nicar, 28, Died in a Hotel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred in a hotel.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Shelby Nicar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

RIP SHELBY ELIZABETH NICAR (March 22, 1995 – June 14, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 1:35 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 26, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
