Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a park.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Nancy Zaldivar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP NANCY ZALDIVAR (December 21, 1973 – May 29, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 7:10 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 15, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
