Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 25-year-old Black female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Zara Minty.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

RIP ZARA MINTY (June 7, 1998 – December 19, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:13 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
