(L.A.) Zane Hubbard, 36, Died in a Prison/Correctional Facility

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 36-year-old Latino male that occurred at a prison/correctional facility.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Zane Hubbard.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Toxic Effects of Olanzapine, Fentanyl and Heroin

Other Significant Condition: Hypertensive and Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP ZANE HUBBARD (May 26, 1988 – September 26, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 12:04 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
