The coroner’s office has identified the man as Yoel Pineda.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 4:45 a.m.

LAFD had responded to a 4:40 a.m. call about an incident in the 400 block of South Gless Street in Boyle Heights.
