(L.A.) Yexenia Gonzalez, 46, Died on Railroad Tracks

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Hispanic female that occurred on railroad tracks in Glassell Park.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Yexenia Gonzalez. Born in L.A. County.

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday.

LAPD said the decedent was hit by an Amtrak train at around 11:30 a.m. in the area of 2705 Media Drive, just east of North San Fernando Road.

The name “Yexenia” is most associated with the Dominican Republic.
