Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old male that occurred in a parking lot.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Yervand Serobyan and listed his race/ethnicity as Middle Eastern or North African [sic].
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Chest and Neck

Police killed a man who had *allegedly* shot at a department helicopter in Reseda on Sunday evening.

“The suspect was struck by gunfire and taken into custody,” another post on X said. He was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
The incident happened near Reseda and Victory Boulevards.
