The coroner’s office identified the man as Yener Ramirez Miranda.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of Head and Neck

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 4:24 p.m.

The decedent was a street vendor who was mistakenly shot by gangbangers. Three suspects were arrested in July 2024 — Raylon Akers, Rahman Abdallah, and James Havlicheck.
