(L.A.) Wray Stewart, 52, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 52-year-old Latino male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Wray Stewart.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Recent Cocaine Use, History of Ulcerative Colitis and Colon Cancer

RIP WRAY STEWART (April 6, 1972 – August 11, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 8:05 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 8, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
