Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 60-year-old male that occurred at a place of business.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as William Cabacungan.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Ischemic Heart Disease

Cause of Death B: Atheroscleroitc Coronary Artery Disease

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in June the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the meth. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.

The decedent’s surname is Filipino. The full name appears to be fairly common.
