(L.A.) William Brown, 73, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 73-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as William Brown.

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Fentanyl and Opiate Effects

RIP WILLIAM BROWN (February 8, 1951 – January 26, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 5:54 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on March 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
