(L.A.) Weyman Washington, 49, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Weyman Washington.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, and Phencyclidine Toxicity

RIP WEYMAN WASHINGTON (September 15, 1975 – February 26, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:32 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 28, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
