(L.A.) Wesley Morris, 34, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Wesley Morris.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Effects of 7-Hydroxymitragynine and Mitragynine

RIP WESLEY MORRIS (April 9, 1991 – November 4, 2025)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Mitragynine is the most abundant active alkaloid in the Southeast Asian plant Mitragyna speciosa, commonly known as kratom.
