(L.A.) Walter Berry, 43, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Walter Berry.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP WALTER BERRY (May 21, 1979 – January 21, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 6:01 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published in mid-August, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
