(L.A.) Vito Derasmo, 62, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Vito Derasmo.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Alcohol Intoxication

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertension, Chronic Alcoholism

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 6:59 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 1.

This appears to have been an acute case of alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much in one session.

Alcohol deaths can be classified as accidents under the assumption that the sots didn’t intend to kill themselves.
