(L.A.) Victor Herrera, 31, Died From Recreational Drug Use

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Hispanic male that occurred at a private residence in Canoga Park.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Victor Herrera, resident of East Colon Street in Wilmington 90744.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDA) and Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA)

RIP VICTOR HERRERA (May 30, 1990 – July 4, 2021)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:39 a.m.

MDMA is more commonly known as ecstasy.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
