(L.A.) Ulises Alonso Martinez, 34, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 34-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Ulises Alonso Martinez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:28 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 2, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
