(L.A.) Tristan Bany, 40, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old White/Caucasian male who passed away at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Tristan Bany.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Alcohol Toxicity

Other Significant Condition: Effects of Chronic Ethanol Use

RIP TRISTAN ALBERT BANY (August 17, 1985 – February 26, 2026)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday.

This was a case of acute alcohol poisoning. The decedent drank too much over a short period of time, in addition to being a regular alcoholic. He in fact had arrests for public intoxication and drunk driving.

He may have been of Hungarian descent.
