Trader Joe’s Recalls Genova Pesto Due to Milk and Walnuts

Genova Pesto with a Use By date of 05/27/2023 that Trader Joe’s sold in California and other states may contain undeclared milk or walnuts.

The SKU of the product is 15759.

Trader Joe’s says it has not received reports of illnesses or allergic reactions to date, and they claim all potentially affected product have been removed from sale.

If you purchased or received any donations of with the affected Use By date and have a milk or walnut allergy, do not eat it. Throw away the product or return it to any Trader Joe’s for a full refund.

The same type of pesto was sold in Trader Joe’s stores in Alabama, Arizona, Nevada, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, and Washington.
