Trader Joe’s Founder Joe Coulombe Has Died
Trader Joe’s founder Joe Coulombe died on February 28 (Friday) at 89 years of age.
Coulombe opened the grocery store with a hope to bring high-quality, healthy food to those who couldn’t afford high-end food shops.
The first Trader Joe’s market opened in 1967, and now there are over 500 locations in 40 states.
He is survived by his three children, six grandchildren and wife of 67 years.
