(L.A.) Tony Wiggins, 62, Died From Polydrug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Tony Wiggins.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Acute Intoxication by the Combined Effects of Cocaine, Fentanyl, Fluorofentanyl, and Phencyclidine

RIP TONY WIGGINS (June 13, 1962 – September 17, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 4:13 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 29, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
