(L.A.) Tony Gayle, 38, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Tony Gayle.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Hypertension

RIP TONY GAYLE (July 30, 1986 – November 14, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:39 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on February 25, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
