(L.A.) Tomas Brewer, 26, Died on a Street

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 26-year-old Caucasian male that occurred on a street.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Tomas Brewer.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Multiple Blunt Force Injuries

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 6:23 p.m.

The decedent was an avid cyclist. He was riding his bicycle through Echo Park when he was hit by a truck being driven by a 22-year-old man named Cruz Tzoca, who was held on $130,000 bail on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.

Brewer was an Emerson College graduate who was working as a writer in the industry.
